London | Hybrid, 2 days per week (but additional flexibility after the first month)
15-month FTC
Up to £100,000 + competitive bonus

I’m working with a **leading international bank** looking to appoint a Real Estate Finance Lawyer to join its London legal team on a 15-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a banking/finance lawyer looking to move in-house, or an experienced in-house lawyer seeking a substantial interim assignment, while continuing to work on sophisticated financing transactions.
**The role will involve:**
* Advising on a high volume of **Real Estate Finance transactions**, including significant and trophy assets
* Taking ownership of transactions from initial structuring through execution
* Drafting and negotiating **facility documentation, term sheets and deal structures**
* Working with standard-form and **LMA documentation**
* Managing a busy pipeline of transactions and working closely with senior stakeholders
* Exposure to a variety of asset classes, including occasional **hotel financings**
**We’re looking for:**
* A UK-qualified lawyer, ideally around **6–10 PQE**, although there is flexibility
* Strong **banking and finance** experience with meaningful exposure to **Real Estate Finance**
* Candidates from either **private practice or in-house**
* Someone technically strong, commercial and comfortable independently managing transactions
* Previous in-house experience is **not required**
This could be particularly attractive to an REF lawyer looking for **high-quality transactional work without traditional private practice hours**. The legal team is small and collaborative, and the role offers a strong level of responsibility from the outset.
