The European Border and Coast Guard Agency supports EU Member States and Schengen-associated countries in the management of the EU's external borders and the fight against cross-border crime. Our expectations Minimum 6 years of IT relevant professional experience Minimum 3 years of project experience relevant to the profile or at similar position Has at least 1 certification among: Advanced level certificate in software development technology domain or an equivalent certification recognized internationally Bachelor's Degree, ICT relevant degree is not mandatory Demonstrates practical experience in software development as Senior Full-Stack Developer or Lead Developer Demonstrates practical experience in design and development of micro fronted or microservices solutions Possesses outstanding expertise in design patterns from both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms Demonstrates practical experience in frontend technologies development including Angular, RxJS, NgRx, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS Demonstrates practical experience in backend or backend for fronted (BFF) technologies development based on Node.js and Nest.js framework, or alternative JavaScript frameworks Demonstrates practical experience in backend technologies development including .NET, C#. Demonstrates practical experience in working with relational (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server) and non-relational databases - Possesses knowledge of GraphQL Demonstrates practical experience in development of automated and unit tests Possesses knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps) and containers-based development environments (e.g. OpenShift) Has gone at least 1 time through the complete lifecycle of the solution Expert in developing enterprise level software systems in specified technology domain Knows UML and can design applications in UML Proficient in designing and developing: data layer, business logic layer and UI layer Worked in Scrum developments Is capable for leading technical teams Holds ability to document effectively technical solutions Presents problem solving skills English level at min. B2 level Openness for hybrid work 5x/month in Warsaw Key tasks Designs and develops the system Lead development teams Translates requirements into design Optimizes software from performance, security and quality points of view Produces technical documentation Estimates effort and time for development Sets software development standards Propose technical solutions for business needs and technical problems Collects and interprets software metrics Manages configuration and releases Contributes to requirements analysis, testing, quality assurance, change management, deployment Tests solutions and develops testing tools Documents developments Prototypes solutions Acts as 2nd and 3rd line support Recruitment process Application review Interview Technical discussion Decision
