**Network Architect**
**Augminter is hiring a Network Architect for a client engagement in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (full-time, on-site).**
**Key Responsibilities and Tasks:**
**• Develop the end-to-end national network architecture covering WAN, aggregation, access, data center, and site connectivity.**
**• Define connectivity and site architecture based on location, service criticality, bandwidth, latency, and availability requirements.**
**• Design high-level connectivity across diverse physical and wireless transmission media, including fiber, FTTx, microwave, metro rings, and remote backhaul.**
**• Define end-to-end service provider architecture and connectivity requirements across distributed locations.**
**• Develop bandwidth, latency, resiliency, redundancy, and quality-of-service requirements across different site and service tiers.**
**• Evaluate network architecture options based on performance, scalability, reliability, security, and cost.**
**• Review network designs, technical specifications, and vendor proposals.**
**• Coordinate with infrastructure, data center, cybersecurity, telecom operators, and other stakeholders to ensure end-to-end network alignment.**
**Required Experience and Knowledge:**
**• 10+ years of relevant experience in enterprise network architecture and large-scale connectivity environments.**
**• Fluency in English is required.**
**• Proven experience designing large-scale WAN, aggregation, access, and data center networks.**
**• Strong knowledge of fiber, FTTx, microwave, metro networks, wireless transmission, and remote connectivity solutions.**
**• Strong understanding of routing, switching, SD-WAN, QoS, network resiliency, and segmentation.**
**• Proven experience working with telecom operators, service providers, technology vendors, and systems integrators.**
**Education and Certification:**
**• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline is required.**
**• CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent professional networking certification is preferred.**
**• Relevant network architecture, SD-WAN, or network security certifications are preferred.**
