Summary: The Senior DevOps Engineer plays a crucial role in aligning development and operations, focusing on the automation, security, and efficient management of software delivery pipelines and infrastructure. Responsibilities: * Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins). * Manage GitOps deployments with Argo CD, including application definitions and environment management. * Automate builds, tests, and deployments across all environments. * Implement zero-downtime deployment strategies. * Provision and manage AWS infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code with Terraform. * Administer containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. * Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems. * Define reliability indicators and contribute to incident management. * Apply DevSecOps best practices and ensure compliance. * Support development teams in adopting DevOps practices. * Write and maintain technical documentation. Must Haves: * Minimum 5 years of experience in a DevOps role or relevant position. * Strong command of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code. * In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, EKS, RDS). * Proven experience in CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins). * Experience managing high-availability production environments. * AI-First Mindset (Must Have) - Paymetrust is an AI-first company where speed, efficiency, and continuous innovation are core principles. Must Have: * Strong interest in and practical experience using AI tools to enhance software engineering and DevOps workflows. * Demonstrated ability to leverage AI solutions to automate tasks, improve productivity, and accelerate problem-solving. * Growth mindset with a willingness to continuously adapt to emerging AI technologies and engineering practices. Nice to Have: * Experience using AI-powered developer tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms. * Experience integrating AI capabilities into engineering, operational, or automation workflows.
