**About The Role**
Prometheus Group is seeking a Software Implementation Consultant to help customers adopt and optimize enterprise software solutions. In this client-facing role, you will work with customer stakeholders and internal teams to understand business needs, configure solutions, support implementation activities, and guide users through change. You will contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing improvement. This position is suited to a collaborative, analytical professional who communicates clearly, learns new technologies quickly, and enjoys solving practical business challenges.
**Qualifications**
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Previous experience in software implementation, consulting, business analysis, enterprise systems, or customer-facing technology work is helpful. You should be comfortable gathering requirements, documenting processes, analyzing information, and translating business needs into practical system solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build productive relationships with customers and colleagues. Successful candidates are organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to manage priorities across multiple workstreams. Familiarity with databases, enterprise resource planning systems, asset management, maintenance operations, or project delivery methodologies is an advantage. A willingness to travel when required by customer or project needs may also be necessary.
**Responsibilities**
Partner with customers to understand their operational goals, existing workflows, challenges, and desired outcomes. Participate in discovery sessions and document functional requirements, business processes, decisions, and implementation plans. Configure and support software solutions in accordance with agreed requirements, project standards, and customer needs. Collaborate with project managers, developers, technical specialists, and customer teams to coordinate delivery activities and resolve issues. Assist with data review, testing, validation, troubleshooting, and preparation for deployment. Develop clear documentation, training materials, and presentations, and help deliver user training that supports effective adoption. Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders. Respond professionally to customer questions and contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and identifying opportunities to enhance implementation practices and product outcomes.
