You'll pair our game with the right microinfluencers and wear our other marketing hats. Important details: PAY : $300 USD / week HOURS : ~8 / week, capped PAID TRIAL : $100 START : ASAP LOCATION : Remote, anywhere COMMUNICATION : Async, Discord text AGREEMENT : Work-for-hire + NDA EQUIPMENT : Your editing tools CREDIT : After probation The studio and the game Extropia Labs is an indie and experimental game studio founded in 2026. Our current game is an untitled 2D RPG with both dark and high fantasy elements. You work directly with our lead developer. You'll have a browser build to play and record from, access to our authoring tools to stage your own demos, our YouTube channel, and the studio Discord. The loop The core of the job is creator partnerships: finding the microinfluencers whose audiences fit a story-driven fantasy RPG, pitching them, and getting the game into their hands. The game isn't out yet, so the goal for now is an audience, not sales. The other hats come and go: recommending where the marketing spend goes, with the lead developer signing off, running our YouTube channel and Discord, cutting a sneak peek from demos you stage in the browser build, and helping with the trailer. The game's hook is its dynamic world: digital beings who live, remember and react, and an AI dungeon master that helps the player write the story. Part of the job is finding the watchable way to show that. Trial and probation Shortlisted applicants complete a $100 paid trial task: a short creator shortlist for our game, with a line on why each one fits. Once you're hired, the first stretch is probation; we set the first assignment together after we've talked. Pass it and stay on, and your name goes in the credits.
