Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Security Onion Specialists to support a cybersecurity and AI training project. The role involves using Security Onion to perform security monitoring, investigate alerts, analyze logs and network traffic, and document real-world security workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Perform assigned cybersecurity workflows using Security Onion.
Monitor networks, investigate alerts, and analyze security logs and traffic.
Apply threat detection and incident investigation techniques.
Record and document workflows, tools, and investigation steps.
Create realistic prompts and detailed evaluation rubrics.
Review task outputs for accuracy and compliance with project guidelines.
Provide clear technical feedback and work independently in a remote environment.
Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Security Onion for monitoring, threat detection, or incident investigation.
Practical cybersecurity or Security Operations experience.
Ability to analyze alerts, logs, network traffic, and security events.
Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
Experience with data annotation, AI evaluation, RLHF, or similar human-data projects is a plus.
Current access to Security Onion and ability to work independently.
Comfortable recording and sharing screen-based workflows.
